The origins of the Huaorani are uncertain. They have many characteristics that make them distinct from any other group in the Amazon.
THE COMMUNITY
Since Otobo has taken in so few guests over the years he remembers every group and these guests have made their way into Huaorani lore. He will often reminisce to his children or other family members about previous guests and tell his children about some event that happened with them.
